
The Montrose County Historical Society
will be presenting a program by
Dr. Brinnen Carter from the
National Park Service.
Dr. Carter will be updating the public on the progress of recovery and repairs in the
Black Canyon of the Gunnison park after last summer's devastating South Rim Fire.

IMPORTANT NOTE: CHANGE OF VENUE!
This presentation will be on Wednesday, May 6th at 7:00pm in the
Pioneer Room at Friendship Hall on the Montrose County Fairgrounds.

Please use the smaller door to the left of the main doors. It will be open at 6:30.

As always, the program is free to attend and open to the public.
Light refreshments will be provided.
We are busy preparing to open for the 2026 season.
